Emergency Notification

Sign up Now for King University’s Emergency Notification System

The University has contracted with Rave Alert to provide emergency text messaging and notification services to the campus community.

As an employee or student, a Rave Alert account has been assigned to your King University email address. However, you will need to update your information through the King University Portal at https://my.king.edu using the instructions below. To receive emergency text messages please make sure that you have provided a cellular telephone number. The Rave system also allows us to send emergency voice messages and is activated when you enter a landline telephone on the Portal information page described below.  All information updated daily at 1:00 a.m.

Instructions

Faculty and Staff members who also teach a class

After logging in to your Portal account, go to the account tab in the upper right corner of the webpage just below your name and click on “contact info.” On this same page you will be able to update your emergency contact information. Please take the time to fill out all information.

Receiving emergency notifications is required for all employees and students using a opt-out system. The system will not be used to send advertisements. User information will not be shared with third parties outside King University. There is no cost to participate in the emergency notification system, other than normal fees your mobile service provider may charge for receiving text messages. If you prefer not to receive text messages, you have the option of receiving only email messages.

Staff
